GG blús is a guitar-drums-voice duo from Iceland, formed in 2017 and manned by Gudmundur Jonsson on guitar/vocals and Gudmundur Gunnlaugsson on drums/vocals. As minimal two-man garage-rock outfit, the lyrics and song craft reveal a deep-rooted faith in and knowledge of old school blues but also responsiveness to contemporary influences.
- Punch - is their debut album, with seven new original songs and three surprising covers. Released in 2019, the album rocks and grooves hard and illustrate their aptitude for well-crafted structures and melodies in low-fi, rock feel.
And now in 2025 a brand new album has been released called - Trouble In Mind - which is closely related to the previous one in terms of format with seven brand new original songs and three covers, but makes the most of its aesthetic choices and the spaces between riffage without sacrificing catchy melodies with thought-provoking lyrics.
