Ghali Hadefi is a prolific musician on the Paris scene since 2006, with more than thirty albums to his name. A truemulti-instrumentalist, he moves effortlessly between piano, guitar, double bass, and ukulele, exploring music without boundaries.

A musical chameleon, he draws inspiration from jazz, rap, French chanson, bossa nova, classical music, and funk. His main field of expression, however, remains gypsy jazz, which he has explored since the late 1990s.

Co-founder of the Collectif Swing Manouche and a key member of the Selmer #607 project, he helped turn it into a cornerstone of the European gypsy jazz scene. This collaborative project around the legendary 1946 Selmer guitar led him to perform and record alongside major artists such as Didier Lockwood, Biréli Lagrène, and Stochelo Rosenberg, and to take part in Tony Gatlif’s Django Drom concert at the Philharmonie de Paris.

As a skilled double bassist, Ghali also develops personal projects such as Rainbow Duets, a series of double-bass and guitar duets featuring top players like Adrien Moignard, Sébastien Giniaux, Rocky Gresset, and Antoine Boyer.

Since 2015, he has been the double bassist for H2R, the trio led by guitarist Clément Reboul, whose performances have reached millions of viewers on YouTube. On stage and in the studio, he shares his deep musical connection with long-time collaborators, including guitarist Aurélien Robert.
