Ghost Dog: the vengeful spirit of hip-hop.

Not content to let the art form die out in a commercial fizzle; this NC-based lyricist seamlessly combines razor-sharp wordplay, wickedly-clever concepts, and a limitless spectrum of moods and subject matter into an intelligent and truly unique package: “I live and die by a certain code, and betray it for nothing. I have always been drawn to martial arts, Eastern philosophy, and Bushido; and this is often reflected in my music….."

Ghost Dog has performed at numerous venues both nationwide & overseas; including such places as Jamaica & Taiwan. He has shared the stage with many legendary hip-hop acts; opening for artists such as Wu-Tang's Cappadonna & Killah Priest, Dinco D. of Leaders of the New School, Prince Po of Organized Konfusion, Casual of Hieroglyphics, Meyhem Lauren, Rapper Pooh, & Wordsworth; to name a few. He's been successfully touring the country over the last 7 years as part of the Building Bridges Tour.

Ghost Dog is also a co-founder of the Cypher UniverCity movement; which has been a staple of NC hip-hop for the last 10 years & been the topic of documentaries in both the Cannes Film Festival & on PBS. Ghost Dog currently has 7 full-length solo albums out. His latest solo LP, “Warrior’s Pride”, released on June 5th, 2021.
