The atmospheric black metal band, Ghost Horizon, formed in 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. It consists of Dan Stollings (all stringed instruments and vocals), and Frog Magus (session drummer).
The debut EP album, Astral Possesion, was released in February 2016 and was well-received. However, it was decided shortly after that Ghost Horizon would continue on without vocalist, Uraeus.
On April 7, 2017, the follow up 4-track EP, the Erotics of Disgust was released digitally, and cassette as well, via Tridroid Records. All instruments on this release were performed by Stollings, with the exception of the drums, which were performed by session deummer, Frog Magus.
After a successful year—being chosen as “Best Black Metal Band in Arizona” (Appalling Events), a Top 10 Choice of 2017 (Metal-Revolution) and a Top 10 Band to Look for in 2018 (Games, Brains & A Headbanging Life), Ghost Horizon continues work on a full length debut album.
