Ghosts Of Breslau is an electronic/ambient project by Patryk Balawender. This 'chronicler of a ghost town' started in 2001, and in the early records, the main focus was on soundscapes evoking the spirit of the difficult history of his home city, Wrocław ('Breslau' in German) in Poland. As a result, a 'trilogy' of albums was released: 'Peste', 'And Should The Spring Come...', and 'Sacred Place'.

After a longer hiatus, GOB returned in 2013 with the 'Drowned City EP', which marked a new, more drone-oriented direction for the project. This was followed by 'Man With The Green Gloves' (2016) and two split records: 'Rübezahl' (with Docetism) and 'Circuit Intégré Volume 2 - A Compilation of Contemporary Electronica' (with Docetism and Ixora). His latest albums to date are 'Niflheim' (a solo effort, 2017), 'Transmission 1' (a collaboration with Tonopah Test), and 'Live – Vol. 1' (2021).

Ghosts Of Breslau’s music has been released by labels in Poland, Spain, Argentina, and China. Patryk also records under the monikers Hands Like Clouds (ambient) and Arboria (minimal techno).

In 2019, Patryk created the microlabel Irrwelt, where his main focus is on releasing his own records (Ghosts of Breslau, Hands Like Clouds, Arboria), as well as those of his friends
