GhostwriterMel is a genre-transcending artist who curated a sound built across various influences. She fuses Soul, Alternative-Lofi, RnB, and Afro-fusion with a love of storytelling.
In 2021, she released her first single, 'Okada,' an afro-pop break-up smash, and the following year, she released 'Whole Day,' a dreamcore rnb love ballad. In 2023, she released Monopoly, her highest selling single so far.

Spending a hiatus honing her abilities, she came up with the name 'GhostwriterMel'. “My head is full of many stories, some I relate to, some I dream up and some inspired by the people in my life but I love to capture these moments and channel the emotions for people to listen and embrace because even if it’s not my reality, it could be someone else’s. Not everyone can express their emotions the way they need to and I’d like to be their Ghostwriter."

GhostwriterMel is set to release a melodically-blue two-pack single titled ‘‘IF I’M WRONG’ delving into the intricacies of love and its favourite games. 'A Bet With Someone in My Dreams' a haunting story about feelings in the beginnings of relationships and 'Addicted' a surprisingly upbeat Afro-RnB ballad about infidelity. Combining ethereally soulful rhymes with a storyteller’s conviction, her sound makes her an artist to watch in the coming years.
