G.H.T is a Swedish group formed in 1987. With a brief break of 30(!) years the band re-emerged in 2020 with the release of the two albums.
”Down the Valley of the Shadows” (which are mostly based on poems by Edgar Allan Poe), as well as “The Seven Deadly Sins”, revolving around the seven deadly sins and several religious issues.
On May 21st 2021, the third album, Voices of the night, was released, focusing on the well-known author and poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
The single “Salvation” was released March 11th 2022 and the fourth album “Pain” was launched on April 1st 2022.
In 2023, the album Suffer was released, which was much darker and leaned more towards EBM. The new album Chaos will be released in november 2024.
Musically, G.H.T is traversing the lands between heavy dark synth to industrially distorted synths.
G.H.T produce their own music videos, which can be found on YouTube on their official channel.
