In the midst of the pandemic, where social media took a pivotal role in transforming the music industry, young artists broke into their new reality. Gianni, a Latin Pop artist on the rise was discovered by the legendary Regaetton artist Fido (Alexis and Fido) thanks to an Instagram DM.
Born on March 20, 2003, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Ian Gianni Torres Fernandez, whose stage name is Gianni, learned to play the guitar at the age of 14. Growing up, he listened to Wisin y Yandel, Alejandro Sanz and Pablo Alborán, who in turn are now some of his biggest musical influences. During his years of study, he had the opportunity to attend institutions specialized in music where he developed his skills as a composer and learned about discipline, structure and scenic mastery.
Gianni has developed his own style by merging pop with the urban genre bringing a refreshing proposal to the industry. He most recently release his debut single “Único Amor” and has more exciting projects to come!
