Giant Mammoth is a Finnish rock band formed in Tampere in 2014.
They posses the garage rock vibes of the likes such as Queens Of The Stone Age, All Them Witches and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, but still remaining true
to their own unique sound.
Eetu and Anssi started as a duo in 2014. Three years later, Giant Mammoth released their self-titled debut album which they recorded, mixed and mastered by themselves. They played their first gig soon after the album release at a local bar in their hometown.
In 2018, Giant Mammoth released "Occultation EP" which was the beginning of what was still to come. Because of the limitations related to their duo setup, Eetu and Anssi felt that they needed some new depth into their music. This led to the recruitment of their friend E-P, who joined the band at the end of 2019.
Giant Mammoth started recording their second album "Holy Sounds" in 2020, in a professional studio in Lammi, Finland.
