Gifted Queens is a performance group made up of five members namely: Evaline Wanjiku , Wanjiku Njihia, Gloria Songoro, Lynnette Mumbi and Velmah Vugutsa.
The five individuals met at Sarakasi Trust in Nairobi Kenya back in 2012 where they were trained and worked as dancers. In 2015 they left sarakasi Trust to form their own dance company Gifted Queens (GQ Dancers) which was a force to be reckoned with in the Kenyan Entertainment scene.
GQ got to work with many renowned artists in kenya, Africa and overseas. One of their dance career highlights was being featured in Michael Jackson's tribute video "Shut up and dance". The song was sang by renowned American artist Jason Derulo and featured Kpop acts NCT127 and EXO member Lay Zhang.
Gifted Queens made their transition from Dance to Music in 2021 with their debut single " Tunachachisha."
