Italian/Spanish artist; a musician/producer/sound engineer and a fashion designer, born in Catania, Sicily. His career started at just 14 years old.
It was at this time, influenced by the sound of his city, he started playing live; singing and playing guitar in various local bands.
In 1995 he began his sound engineer career, studying at Centro Professione Musica whilst working as a sound engineer, touring in support of international artists including Tom Harrel, Tonino Horta, Rickie Lee Jones, Gloria Gaynor, Temptation, Cool & the gang, Blonde Redhead, Warmers, and Uzeda.
In 2003 Gigi moved to London where he completed a BA in Commercial Music, specialising in production and the music business at Westminster University. In 2007 he started collaboration with Dented Records (Foreign Beggars). In 2008, he collaborated with Kudos Records and the next year with Paul "trouble" Arnold at FAT! Records and Chew the Fat!
Over the years he has written and performed music extensively, developing a live performance which pushes the boundary of technology
Returning to Italy in 2009, he started two new marvellous adventures; one on the fashion side, designing a collection of handmade shoes.
In 2010 he moved to Barcelona.
Gigi is also producing music for media and short movies. Gigi is a singer, a DJ, a photographer and a cook, an artist trying to define and express his individual style in all his work, undertaking each and every ordinary action with love and grace.
