Gilbert Lee

Hey there. I’m Gilbert Lee, a singer-songwriter based in Maryland, USA. I’ve been recording &amp; releasing my songs since 2016, first as a “solo” artist, but more recently with my band, <a href="spotify:artist:6g9Q4p8wtvaUZWGMjIw1GE" data-name="The Ghost on the Radio">The Ghost on the Radio</a>, which features the string &amp; horn work of Hanna Livingston as well as the talents of my multi-instrumentalist pal, Derek Shank.

I write in a variety of styles -- I like a good bossa nova as much as a gritty alt-country tune; I like short, simple pop-songs as well as funky jams in odd time signatures. Despite the disparate sounds from one song to the next, I aim to tie them all together with common lyric themes &amp; a consistent high, lonesome tenor.
