Gildor is a Dutch songwriter whose music can be described as a melting pot of warm indiefolk, Americana and west-coast pop. It’s contemplative and melancholic, but overall, it’s comforting, light and easy by nature. In the fall of 2021, Gildor was signed by the late Sandy Roberton (producer of Steeleye Span , Iain Matthews, John Martyn, among others) and recorded his debut-album in the iconic RAK studios in London. The record was produced by Isabel Gracefield, who has worked with Sam Smith, Michael Kiwanuka and others. This long-awaited album was released in September of 2023 and featured star guest musicians, such as Robbie McIntosh (guitar for John Mayer, Paul McCartney), BJ Cole (pedal steel for Alan Parsons, Elton John), Jens Wierckx, Thijs van Zutphen and Lucas Kloosterboer. After releasing his follow-up album 'Long Way Round', including the single Residual Bliss and the Bob Dylan cover You're A Big Girl Now, Gildor has released his third album All Under Heaven at the start of 2025.
