No, You’re Crying, her debut solo release, was recorded over the past two years of isolation and rings with a singular time and place of heartbreak and solitude. Growing up surrounded by music in Colorado, Leslie cut her teeth with American folk sounds and immersed herself in the devoted communities that chase them. Over more than a decade playing everything from bluegrass to folk to jazz, she’s absorbed a huge swath of American music and made it her own.
