Gina P

Gina P, (Pennesi), is a Toronto-area vocalist and live entertainment producer. Over the last decade, Gina P has been performing for Toronto area audiences accompanied by top area musicians within the R&B, Neo-soul and jazz live music scenes. She creates feel-good vibes and she is complimented for her harmonies, versatility and range. Gina P's rich and soulful sound emanates from her immersion in Black music, having grown up on the Canada-US border and Detroit radio. Her silky-warm tone reflects legendary influences such as Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Angie Stone, Stevie Wonder and Jill Scott to name just a few. Over the years, Gina has recorded vocals for other artists in house and gospel music. In 2016, she co-founded Orange Moon Entertainment with Lisa Michelle and produced several live tribute shows in popular Toronto venues. In late 2020, inspired by the pandemic to find creative service offerings, Gina and Lisa launched a new custom vocal greeting video service called Holla'grams under Orange Moon Entertainment. Gina is looking forward to returning to live performances but is delighted to have new opportunities to perform virtually as well.

Now in 2021, Gina P is beginning her career as an independent recording artist, releasing her debut single “Magic” (feat. Oh!) on July 19.
