Gīnā

Gīnā is an Independent artist from the 757, Aka Newport News Virginia, but now resides in the city that never sleeps(New York).As a child music was the last thing on her mind, but as time passed it quickly became the main thing that fueled her.Only four months after her 18th Birthday Gīnā was severely injured in a head on collision that caused her to spend the next two years trying to get back to 100%. As the person she once was became foreign to her, who she was becoming inspired her. “Growth is only possible in uncomfortable conditions” Gīnā states, “I learned that as I went along my journey,and I believe pain and adversity is the reason why I look at life differently now, but many fail to mention the pros AND the cons that come with reevaluating yourself as an individual”.

After Releasing her first Single RANT on her 20th birthday, Gīnā looks to continue the tradition of talking about things that she’s experienced, and how her perspective and perception has been altered because of it. “My favorite artist all have one thing in common, they capture vulnerability through words and experiences.As an artist I look to inform listeners on what I stand for, how I view things, who I use to be, who I currently am, and who I wish to become.”

More music is to come, as Gīnā is in the works of creating an EP based on her very own “Perception and Perspective”.
