Gio

Giovanni was born and raised in Puerto Rico and began making music with his grandpa at a very young age. He has always had a deep passion for music. He moved to Florida with his family at age 13 and lived there for 7 years. Through that time, Gio was a worship leader, which is what he loved the most, but age 18, he made the decision to depart from the church and became musically stagnant.

Gio would eventually end up making it on Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, but his performance was not aired and his act would not be chosen to continue, despite making it to the next round. Even through that disappointment, his dream of becoming a music artist was very much alive and his passion continued to burn. He met Angeles while living in Florida, and together they moved to Denver in search of a new beginning for their careers. After 3 years of living in Denver, he met Wes through a local online website in search of producers and engineers. From there, Wes introduced Gio to Paul Junior at Mint Audio, and he immediately knew Angeles needed to be involved. They started working on a lot of music, becoming a new team, and a family away from home for Gio. The team began crafting a new sound fusing Pop & R&B with Hip Hop & Latin Music, and began creating the Forever EP which is now streaming.
