Gio, who I am. 610, where I'm from. Born in Allentown PA, adopted and raised in Collegeville PA, I found my love for hip hop/rap, growing up in the outskirts of Philadelphia. I first discovered my ability to rap in middle school, during freestyle cyphers at the lunch table and back of the bus with my peers. Writing music became my journal and recording was my release. I continued to perfect my craft, thinking this was my calling, until I graduated college and life hit. Unsure about my direction and in need of stability, I put music to the side but could not escape the daily routine of writing, freestyling and having an urge to record. I've realized music is apart of who I am and regardless of the destination, the journey keeps me whole.
I hope to motivate others to do whatever it is that fulfills them, through the authenticity my music provides. No one wants to live life regretting risks they didn't take.
