Cesare was an Italian composer, trombonist and cornett player. He had connections through service in Austria, Augsburg, Munich, and Udine. (He did service in the court of Maximillian.) Cesare composed motets, a magnificat, concerti and melodies for voice and instruments. Instrumental pieces include one to six part works for cornett and trombone; he also had a sound grasp of choral antiphonies. ~ Keith Johnson, Rovi
