Los Angeles-based Girl Next Door was an alternative/trip-hop-styled duo comprised of vocalist and guitarist Kat Green and multi-instrumentalist <a href="spotify:artist:4kaIyqMEQObOA1C1LrhPHl">Billy Lincoln</a>. Debuting in 1998 with the self-released Remembering Analogue LP, GND drew comparisons ranging from <a href="spotify:artist:6bWxFw65IEJzBYjx3SxUXd">Morcheeba</a> to <a href="spotify:artist:526q7RxT5KA1VGeQ5GMSHO">Craig Armstrong</a>. The album did well locally, and in 1999 the duo returned with the Transition EP, which featured a remix of Analogue's "Gorgeous." ~ Johnny Loftus
