GIUNGLA, aka Emanuela Drei, is an Italian musician, producer, and sound designer known for her unique blend of punk rock energy, pop sensibilities, and electronic experimentation.

Giungla, which means “jungle” in Italian, adopted her stage name in 2016, symbolizing the wild and untamed nature of her sound.

Starting her musical journey with the guitar, she played in several local bands during her teenage years, developing her raw and energetic style.

She’s played alongside The xx, Foals, Grimes, Franz Ferdinand and Battles – just to name a few – as well as being invited to play at numerous festivals across Europe and North America.

During her career, Ema has also collaborated with other artists, both in the studio and on tour as session guitarist / bassist.

In addition to her work as a musician, Ema works as sound designer and hosts a regular show on Radio Raheem, Unguided Tour w/ GIUNGLA.

Her new album “Distractions“, entirely self-produced, has been releases on November 1st 2024 via Factory Flaws.
