Born in Italy in 1955, Giuseppe Gazerro formed his first group playing his own songs, ‘Jag Band’, in the 70’s, writing concept albums based on religious themes as highlighted in the title: “GENESIS”.
In ’82 he became a bassist and entered a funky-pop group, ‘KRUNDAALS’.
They recorded ‘EMERGING’, album favourably reviewed and broadcasted live on RAI 2, RAI 3 and officially distributed on the market.
In ’86 he recorded ‘PROLOGO PER UN PROGETTO PRETENZIOSO’, which was awarded of the ‘Best Artist of the Month’ prize by the musical magazine ‘Tuttifrutti’.
Later he formed a band called ‘EGO’ and recorded ‘ALL THE PIGEONS IN THE RAIN’ (’91).
He then returned to his solo activity and thus in ’96 he produced a record, ‘TEMI SOSPESI’, officially published by A&M Songs & Music; three years later he started the project named
‘BIBLICA BOULEVARD’, which saw the light in the beginning of ’99.
With a new line up, he recorded *LE COSE CHE SUCCEDONO E LE COSE CHE SONO* and performed in important venues like the Carnival in Venice.
Gazerro performed in many Dylan tributes, namely in Rome (Big Mama, 2004), Milan (2005) and at Pistoia Blues in 2006.
Later on, he started working on Theatrical Projects writing 3 scripts which he has oftern performed live.
He’s now working on the re-release of his musical tracks for the new online market.
