Music of a nomadic troubadour, Brooklyn based musician Gal Lazer, Gladys Lazer is some fire and brimstone from the depths. Gal, is known by some for his drumming up a storm with Yonatan Gat (Monotonix and unfathomable solo escapades). Here he is really controlling the force beyond anyone's wildest dreams. Piano and other percussion; what could be electronic sounds; a scraping and setting of sails; more thump and rattle in a divinely directed way; some guest accompaniment from fellow travelers, horns and whatnot. Gal knows deepness and darkness, Gladys recognizes light when necessary, sending postcards from edges explored and documented in sound.
