Created in the winter of 2017, Glass Mimic was brought about by the former members of the death-doom collective Fin'Amor. Guitarist Julian, keyboardist and bassist Nodar, and singer-songwriter Eugene formed the sonic triumvirate. With elements of somber songwriting, invoking classical doom motifs, and electronic phrasings, Glass Mimic is an emergent band with a particular metal form and a subtle post-metal atmosphere. Fans of Katatonia, Swallow the Sun, and Paradise Lost will find much to enjoy in Glass Mimic.
