Born out of New Orleans’ creative fire, glbl wrmng isn’t just a music collective, it’s a movement. Founded by artist Pell, music lawyer Juan Yusuf, and cultural producer Nate “Suave” Cameron Jr., all New Orleans natives, the collective emerged in the aftermath of storms, displacement, and rebirth, representing a generation of POC New Orleans creators who refused to let their city’s sound be stuck in the past.

glbl wrmng brings together some of the city’s most vibrant voices from Alfred Banks, Antwigadee!, LeTrainiump, Dominic Scott, Kr3wcial, $leazy EZ, ODD The Artist, The Adoni, Peace The OG, Shaggadelic, Ghazi Gamali, Cronos, Shoagrove Coal, , and more ,each one carrying a piece of the Crescent City’s rhythm into the future. The crew’s sound blends the bounce, funk, and brass roots of New Orleans with forward-facing hip-hop, R&B, and electronic textures.

Their debut project, glbl wrmng Vol. 1, was a statement of unity and hometown pride, recorded in the middle of a pandemic when artists everywhere were isolated. Their follow-up, Vol. 2: As the World Burns…, will push the message further — that New Orleans’ creativity is global currency, and collaboration is the cure.

From stages at Jazz Fest to playlists heard around the world, glbl wrmng stands for resilience, joy, and collective power. This is New Orleans music in the 21st century thats rooted in the streets, reaching for the stars, and reminding the world that the culture is the economy.
