I'm a country-pop storyteller from South Africa, mixing Nashville heart with African soul.
I was born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa. Here, I grew up on my father’s CDs of Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Shania Twain, alongside classics from Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, and Bob Marley. These early influences shaped my warm, narrative-driven songwriting.
While studying medicine at Stellenbosch University, I honed my craft performing at wine farms, restaurants, and later at farmers’ markets and corporate events. My style merges the acoustic charm of folk-pop with the energy of pop-country, infused with subtle South African rhythms and grooves.
My latest single, Honeybee, is a nostalgic yet fresh anthem, pairing banjo and slide guitar with a groovy bassline and an honest, conversational lyric style. The accompanying music video showcases South Africa’s beauty, filmed in the bushveld with wildlife, classic cars, and sweeping landscapes.
