Inspired by plunderphonics, mash-ups, and those "lo-fi hip hop beats to chill/study to" videos with the sleek anime imagery, glitterghost was born. The dreamy, glo-fi bedroom pop project's sound incorporates a diverse range of musical influences, from Bright Eyes and Active Child to the Eagles and anime soundtracks, in a style of deconstructed musical collage. By incorporating vinyl sound effects, as well as old school 8-bit and Gameboy beats and loops, glitterghost's signature sound aims to create a unique listening experiencing through the juxtaposition of grainy, digital noise against dreamy, melodic soundscapes.
