GMH

Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, GMH is a solo project fronted by Gregory Hyman that revolves around musical exploration and individual creativity. From sharing the stage with acts like The Watchmen and Goody Grace to sold out headlining shows at Sidestage and The Rec Room, GMH fuses rock with hints of folk and pop. He has been making chorus-heavy alt-rock for the last couple of years but is ready to revisit his roots and love for the acoustic guitar and work on singer/songwriter-focused music. Inspired by bands like Matthew Good Band and The Tragically Hip with a soft spot for Canadian songwriters, GMH strides to create songs with lyrics surrounding trends of love and heartbreak and struggles that can be faced by teenagers and young-adults with the goal of creating an audience that is ready to sing along and take in the music GMH has to offer.
