go-Dratta

Go-Dratta, born and raised in Palermo, is an electronic music composer, but comes from a classical background. In the last few years he managed to build himself a strong track record both in Italy and internationally: he played Liverpool Sound City, Athens Music Week, was asked to represent Italy for Open Sound Festival in Hong Kong and Dubai, he was remixed by DJ Khalab, has landed a sync on Netflix's SKAM Italy, he played several times his own sets on the most experimental and known radios in Italy, he played for Matera European Capital of Culture 2019, and has worked with brands (such as Red Bull) on original music productions. He's very appreciated by tastemakers and people with a distinctive and selected music taste: he's very niche but at the same time has a playful and club-oriented approach to music, especially when it comes to playing live (with sets that appeal also to younger and less “cultured” audiences). He has now completed his new and second album, LABESS, that comes after different EPs and featurings, and which mixes his eclectic electronic taste with sounds and inspirations coming from his own city, Palermo, Sicily, managing to re-interpret and being at the forefront of a current global trend that makes traditional mediterranean music meet with contemporary sounds.
