A deathcore duo based out of Kleve, Germany, Goatblood, who describe their sound as "Ritual Occult Goat Metal," was founded in 2011 around the talents of Satanic Death Vulva (lead vocals, guitars, bass) and Reverend Slayer (vocals, drums). The band recorded their first 7", "Invocation of Doom" and "Sadistic Body Rites" in 2012, and issued their debut studio long-player, Adoration of Blasphemy and War, in 2015. The following year they released an EP, Nekro Rituals, as well as a split LP with Ecuadorian blackened metal outfit <a href="spotify:artist:0b2GrGd0hnnprPyBV6mevY">Nihil Domination</a> called Supremacia de Satanas.
