Founded on 2012, God vs the Kings is a Nu-Metal band hailing from the Philippines. Most well known in the local circle by their song 'Delubyo', dedicated to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan or locally known as Yolanda. Our music is a continuous process of experimentation, forging and melding different melodies to give life to new sounds. It is never boring. It is emotional, downright complex, utterly mysterious and unpredictable. Yet at times straight to the point, unrelenting and unstagy. Members include Bj Ebit, as lyricist and vocals, Gerardo 'Jer' Gega as guitarist, James 'Mayo' Oliveros on drums and Zeus Santiago as bassist. Songs are heard on Jam 88.3, a premiere philippine radio station for bands and other artists particularly on their 'Balian ng Leeg' segment. Featured as new artist pick on Pulp Magazine Issue No.192 and Unplug Magazine Issue No.25 (9 pages). Song title 'Tears' featured by Pulp Worldwide on 2017, awarded best indie band by Bandista Production on their 2nd anniversary.
