Goddess Dortheá is a Detroit-native, and when it comes to music she is best known as a spiritual songwriter, soul musician, and soul healing mystic with a passion to inspire others. She is a Holistic Therapist, Spiritual Counselor, and Ordained Interfaith Minister in her full-time.


Dortheá spent most of her childhood writing poetry, singing, and entertaining for only family and close friends. It wasn’t until 2015 that she finally took the leap to pursue a full-time career as a holistic arts & culture organizer as a poet, songwriter, and spiritual healer, with the release of her first books of poetry, personal development, and empowerment.


Later on, in 2020, Dorthea released her debut EP "Modern Soul Sister," as an intimate body of work that explored self-love, healing, and spiritual self-reflection. Through her music, Dorthea hopes her journey to transformation and inspire self-discovery serves as an inspiration for all women – encouraging them to embrace their divine feminine energy, discover self-love through creative expression, and manifest their best lives using the divinity of their own magic.


In 2021, she founded modernsoulfulmusic.com, a conscious music journal for the modern soulful generation. The Modern Soulful Music Movement was created to uplift independent artists who are using their art to help heal the soul of themselves and others by sharing a powerful message.
