Godjnr was born in the 90’s, he hails from Owo local government area in Ondo state. He’s a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, where he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Department of Music (Sound Engineering), in 2018.
Godjnr has always been a lover of music right from a very tender age, and a member of the Church Choir, part of what inspired him to also study music as a career, Godjnr fell in love with the instrumentals before he did with singing. He’d play the Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano, and Upright Bass eventually led to him singing.
In 2021, Godjnr intensively started his music career as a singer by dropping his first EP, Before the Beginning alongside other singles. And right now, he’s working on a new EP “Dark Matter”
Godjnr's music encapsulates special, tuneful, and excellent Dance Hall Rhythms fused in Afrobeat. He defines not only musical standards but expectations of how he should be as an artist and a man, as well.
