God's Mind, Body & Spirit

God’s Mind, Body & Spirit consists of Daddy Ray working with others of like mind producing Christian Based music. So from a young age I've listened to a variety of music styles and found my expression flowing out from them.

My early years consisted of playing Bass Guitar in church, and for The Highgate Gospel Choir. I have been writing songs from the 1980's. A friend helped me arrange some of my lyrics and singing vocals. During that period I formed the group “Mind, Body & Spirit” where we wrote and recorded songs. The group disbanded after a number of years.
In 1988 I married Linda, and dedicated the song, “A Gift from God to Me” to her. I studied theology for eight years; this helped to develop my writing skills around scripture.
Encouraged by Music Producer, Ruben in 2020, I set myself up as an independent recording Artist and released my songs. My first single was released 29th October 2020, "Create in me a clean heart”, featuring Dean Lawrence. Two traditional Instrumental Hymns and another single released in 2021, "Cannot see a Way" featuring Daddy Ray and Dean Lawrence. Remixes of Create in me a Clean Heart and Cannot see a Way followed shortly by Come into my heart Lord Jesus. My first instrument album was released in 2022, The Journey.
My latest works are a variety of prayers with music backing, and a narrated version of Trials/ The Rock.
