Gods of Space is a heavy metal band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania that deals in the modern sounds of stoner and doom metal, the rougher edge of 60s psychedelia and space rock along with the glory days of 70s heavy metal.
Our Story
Gods formed in 2012 with Matt Hannon seeking band mates for a Doom project. Jake and Matt linked up via Craigslist. They played mostly casually until 2015 when Matt moved to NOLA.
Matt returned to his hometown and Jake reunited with him. Matt took up bass and the band was a Trio from then on.
2018 saw the release of "Til Human Voices Wake Us" as well as current drummer T.J Lepkowski joining the band.
2021 will see the release of "Against A Falling Sky" which is a short concept EP about a starship being sabbatoged mid flight.
