Brighton-based 6-piece, Goetia (go-ay-sha), draws together influence from a plethora of genres, Jazz Fusion, Hip-Hop, Funk and Alternative Rock to name a few, resulting in a cocktail of contrasting sounds that makes it difficult to place them in any one genre.

Breaking away from the conventions of the current musical landscape, the combination of each member’s conflicting influences results in an infectious energy; a simultaneous tension and fluidity that is best experienced through their electric live shows. As put by frontman, Billy Fox-Coates, the band aims to create music that is “unexpected yet easily received”, a philosophy evident throughout their music.
