Gökçe Kılınçer, London based Turkish artist, made her first appearance on the Turkish music scene in 2014 and released her first album (Kalbimde Izi Var) in 2016. Her nostalgic singing and playing style are reminiscent of a past long gone, it doesn’t come as a surprise if she is considered by many as the icon of Turkish retro-pop. Since her early appearances, her sound has inspired more than a few. Songs from her album have been featured in major soap-operas, travelled the radio-waves and covered by live bands in the club circuits.
