Gökçin

She was born in Istanbul in, grew up in a family that performed all branches of art as a profession. During her university years, she was the soloist of an amateur rock band and sang the songs of the singers whose vocals she admired such as Şebnem Ferah, Özlem Tekin, Dolores O’Riordan, and Nina Persson at her concerts. In the choirs that she used to be a member of, she had the opportunity to add songs from many languages and different genres to her repertoire. She performed in distinguished concert venues like Kościół Świętego Krzyża in Warszaw, Pantheon in Rome, Aya Irini in İstanbul, with valuable musicians domestic and abroad. She has kept her interest in all kinds of writing alive since she was a kid, and she was awarded in various contests with the stories she wrote. She worked as an editor for TV channels and magazines and as a copywriter for advertising agencies, while she continued to develop her musical skills by taking singing and piano classes. In 2021, she published her first single, Narsist Yabancı, whose lyrics and music belong to her.
