Golden Bantic describe their sound as: ‘a unique brand of indie pop, blending shrewd, upfront lyrics with catchy hooks and sexy saxophone solos.’

In August 2016, the band was catapulted from a Cambridgeshire bedroom to the stage at a BBC Radio Cambridgeshire live session. Songwriter Logan McKelvey had been writing and recording tracks in his bedroom both at home in the UK and whilst travelling in Canada. Recognition soon followed – a second live session for BBC Introducing, sets at festivals including the final ever Secret Garden Party and a NMG Award Nomination generated a loyal fanbase, whilst the band’s musical style began to evolve.

McKelvey (guitar/vocals), Juan Coquet (drums), Alex Forrest (keyboards and sax), Harvey Simpson (bass) and Oscar Charlton (guitar) will bring their ‘infectious indie pop’ to festivals this summer and release their new single ‘Simmer Down’ in May 2019.
