Salum Said Nyangumwe, professionally known as Golden, is a musician and actor from East Africa, Tanzania. His music career began in Morogoro, in the small area of Gairo, where his early connection to sound and performance was formed.

Golden’s artistic development was shaped by exposure to diverse cultures following his mother Rachel Mwegoha relocating from Morogoro to Dar es Salaam, allowing him to absorb a wide range of musical influences. Throughout his career, Golden worked with the late Ruge Mutahaba, one of the founders of Clouds Media Group, and later became part of Tanzania House of Talent (THT), an initiative established under Ruge Mutahaba.

Golden holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Dar es Salaam, grounding his artistry in both academic training and lived cultural experience. His music today reflects a deep connection to African soundscapes, blending tradition, emotion, and contemporary expression.
