goldenblue - a duo based in Berlin and Istanbul.
Ege Çolak and Aykan Vural currently have a long distance musical connection. The name "goldenblue" stands for the colors the sun reflects to the sea when it rises. Furthermore it represents a melancholic but hopeful atmosphere, the duo combines their inner worlds and perceptions to create purely.
In the year 2018 these two also started composing and writing their own songs together. They generally produce their music around ambient indie, compositional ambient, indie pop, indie rock genres.
The first song of the duo is named “episode" which expresses a healing process and puts the focus on the importance of mental health.
The second release named “Clouds" was recorded in Istanbul at the recording studio “No:5” in assistance of producer Ozan Çanak.
"Morning" and "Daffodils" first two singles from debut album is out now via NO5 RECORDS.
