The Austrian duo, consisting of Paul Wurm and Christian Schmidt, came together in 2021 under the name GOLFBLITZ. They work with experimental pop currents and various styles from eclectic electronic music, including elements of hip-hop, bedroom pop, ambient, and psychedelic pop, which they weave into a new genre. The two sound engineers met in their youth and have been working together on performative commissioned productions in visual arts (HOCHsommer Festival, University of Applied Arts Vienna, and more) ever since. For the past few years, the two friends have been active as music producers and live and studio musicians for other artists, including Kobrakasino, Resi Reiner, and Rahel. Additionally, they have been hired for various film and art productions to produce soundtracks (Documentary: Austrian National Park, Natural History Museum Vienna). Now, the two want to release their debut album named "Home."
