Gone D’arc is a California-based artist and producer born in Texas and raised in
Atlanta, Georgia. His genre-defying style blends cloud-rap inspiration with
atmospheric, ambient, and majestic elements while conveying a spiritual essence to
honor Jesus.
The name “Gone D’arc” pays tribute to historical roots, drawing inspiration from the
French pronunciation of the historical figure Joan of Arc (Jean D’arc). Like his
namesake, Gone is a visionary who uses music to ignite a divine spark within his
listeners. The artist blends aspects of Melodic Hardcore/Metalcore and 2010's Cloud-Rap, drawing
inspiration from legends such as Clams Casino, Cities Aviv, Underoath, Counterparts and Spaceghostpurrp, among others.
Beyond entertainment, Gones mission is to expand the
public’s perception of what "Christian" music can sound like. In addition, he seeks to glorify Jesus through his
musical compositions and invites his listeners to embrace the divine and find
inspiration and meaning in it.
