Good Courage was a Danish/American electro-industrial project, active in the mid-1990s.
The band released several notable works during this period, including the albums Old, Broken and Destroyed (1996) and New, Fixed & Remixed (1997), the latter featuring <a href="spotify:artist:72ljvzF8jSLdJ1H0VsLdka" data-name="En Esch">En Esch</a> (of <a href="spotify:artist:3V4IvzRQYP5mzuVtkcHgVa" data-name="KMFDM">KMFDM</a> ), <a href="spotify:artist:0klcoRwPQF1GMv8FrA7F8V" data-name="Leæther Strip">Leæther Strip</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3OHbToMuJihWhRcqzKjpBd" data-name="Apoptygma Berzerk">Apoptygma Berzerk</a> and many other contributors from the scene of the time.
Their music was characterized by a blend of electronic and industrial elements. They reached #10 in the U.S. Alternative Dance Charts of the time, and the band's work remains a part of Denmark's rich electronic music history.
Good Courage consisted of members Jacob Neis (producer, samples), Henrik Jensen (producer, sequences) and Eric Nelson (lyricist and vocalist). After touring in Denmark, USA and Canada the members went on to work on other projects; Jacob and Henrik focused on <a href="spotify:artist:5jr7mwdHJxK36PSjPJ5YLw" data-name="Neotek">Neotek</a> while Eric formed his own new project <a href="spotify:artist:7xZVY9Ln7diFV1rvBy0gLV" data-name="KINGDOMDK">KINGDOMDK</a>.
April of 2025 saw the 30th anniversary remastered edition of “Old, Broken and Destroyed”. A couple of additional albums are in the works for release during 2025.
