Beginning in 2012, Goodknight Productions has specialized in producing multi-genre covers of Video game music, typically focusing on in-depth feature albums dedicated to a video game/character or game series. The very first project of GKP was an 83 track multi-album release based on the Donkey Kong Country trilogy. Since then GKP has completed other projects focused on popular video games and characters including Mario Brothers, Sonic The Hedgehog, Kirby, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Kingdom Hearts, The Legend of Zelda and Banjo-Kazooie to name a few. Some notable events for GKP include in 2017, when GKP was the feature of Vice article and more recently this current year where GKP will have done its first collaboration track. This collaboration is part of an in-depth feature album based on a game featuring the character, Sonic the Hedgehog which also features collaborations from around 40 other artists. This album is due for release on the 12th of October.
