Good Lekker are a versatile six-piece indie-pop band based in Wollongong, NSW. Formed in 2017, the band entered the Australian music scene offering an exciting blend of psychedelic rock and Brit-pop elements, portraying their sound in a way that further energises their live performances.
True to their craftsmanship and flair with songwriting, 'Show I Care' sees Good Lekker continue their searing form with another offering of indie rock brilliance. Riveting guitars and spellbinding synth leads combine emphatically for a lavish hook, detailed with rhythmic finesse and melodic intricacies. Completed with dominant vocals, the band's compact chemistry steals the spotlight once again, making for a new fantastic addition to their catalogue.
To celebrate the release, Good Lekker have announced an East-Coast headline tour in May, including performances at Lady Hampshire in Eora/Sydney, The Workers Club in Naarm/Melbourne and O'Skulligans in Meanjin/Brisbane.
Throughout 2022, the band toured extensively across the country, playing headline shows and supporting the likes of Bootleg Rascal, Shag Rock, The Moving Stills, British India and Keli Holiday (Peking Duk), and were set to play at cancelled festivals Yours and Owls and Festival of the Sun. Since their inception, they've shared the stage with beloved acts such as MALLRAT, Hockey Dad, The Vanns, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Boo Seeka and The Babe Rainbow.
