Goodwill Hunter was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut’scapital city. To escape the violence
and aggression of his most immediate surroundings, growing up, Will found his sanctuary in music
and basketball.
As a child of the nineties, he was home-schooled by some of East Coastgreatest. "I would go to
my brother& house, pick up Biggies Born Againalbum, and crank it out. ;Listing Nas and Biggie,
as well as Cash MoneyGolden era as a source of inspiration for what would later help edify his
artistic persona.
Since his debut mixtapes, Turntables Season 1 to 4, Will uses the knowledge acquired in his
self-discovery journey to uplift and inspire the next generation. Firmly rooted in his upbringing,
Change meditates the direction of his new chapter, followed by goal-setting Riches concluding
with From a Distance
His latest project was completed with the close collaboration of genre-fluid producer David Sisko,
who he rates as one of the many influences towards his more experimental approach to his
songwriting and cadence. ;He encouraged me to use my voice differently. It helped me change the
way I look at my projects."
