Gordon Hands is a songwriter of Americana, Classic rock and Christian music. Located in Hollywood in the early 70s, Toronto mid seventies and back to Los Angeles in the late 70s Gordon thrived as a singing bass player with Taxidancer, the Michael McKenna Band, Mainstream, the Lisa Hartt Band and Orion. Gordon played the Hollywood club scene, Toronto’s best clubs, concert tours in Eastern Canada and back to Los Angeles and Arizona. Gordon also played with the praise team at Newbury Park First Christian Church for 17 years, playing original songs as a solo artist and wrote songs for children’s Christian musicals. As a child in the 50s Gordon’s heart was swept up in the birth of rock & roll, Motown, the English invasion, surf rock, folk psychedelic and classic rock. A lifetime love of rock and roil!
