Görkem Karabudak, besides one of the creators of the bands Çilekeş and Bubituzak, is also known for his collaborations with names such as Gaye Su Akyol, Korhan Futacı & Kara Orkestra, Yasemin Mori and Tuğçe Şenoğul on stage and their records . He has performed in various important organizations, including festivals around the world such as Roskilde (Denmark), Sziget (Hungary), En Positivo (Honduras), Womad (England) Vomex (Gran Canaria), Jazzahead (Germany), Sukiyaki Meets The World (Japan) and many more
Besides his last 7 singles of his long-awaited solo project, his 1st EP “Kontra” was released on February 2024 by Sümbül Plak.
The breadth of the artist's sound palette, which is familiar to his listeners from the projects he has been involved in so far as well as from the solo singles he has released, also shows itself strongly in this EP. Traces of the waters Karabudak has swam in throughout his career and the integrity created by timelessness form the texture of this EP. The mini album, entirely produced by Görkem

The entire production of the album is undertaken by Görkem Karabudak, the artwork belongs to Deniz Bankal
