Gort and Caretaker is the singular vision of debutante savant [REDACTED]. Comparisons with other bands do nothing but take away from truly original voices. But originality means nothing without quality songwriting and having good taste. Gort is Generation Z’s one-man Ween, a proggy Prince, a genius in the bedroom able to capture every indie rock style prominent from the 90s until now, all in furtherance of a deeply personal, funny, sad and joyous expression of growing up in post-America.
